The 1958 South Africa 3 Pence Silver Coin is a classic pre-decimal issue from the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck in 50% silver, this small denomination formed part of South Africa’s pound, shilling and pence currency system prior to decimalisation.

The obverse features the youthful portrait of Queen Elizabeth II together with the inscription “ELIZABETH II REGINA”.
