Use of this website implies acceptance of our terms and conditions (including our privacy policy). This acceptance is a binding agreement between you and Galaxy Coins. Before accepting these terms, please seek clarification for any term or condition that is unclear. If you do not accept these conditions then please refrain from using the site.
The material provided on this site is for general information. The product images have been digitally produced and therefore colour and toning of the products may vary from the images. These are intended for illustrative purposes only.
Galaxy Coins does not provide financial, investment and or taxation advice and therefore does not accept any responsibility for any loss which may arise from accessing or reliance on the information on this site. You are required to consult your own advisor for recommendations and guidance on financial issues. We have no control over the contents of third party sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
Galaxy Coins reserves the right to update and/or change content on this site without notification. You are responsible to take notice of these changes.
If the need arises we may suspend access to our site or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time and we are under no obligation to update such material.
If any part of this agreement should become void, illegal or unenforceable it will be replaced by the commercial and legal condition most similar in context, the remainder of the terms and conditions shall remain in full effect within this agreement.
Trading Hours
Normal Galaxy Coins trading hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Orders for bullion will be accepted online or by telephone (03 94283700) within these hours subject to availability.
Intellectual Property Rights
Galaxy Coins is the owner of the intellectual property rights of the content published on this site. All rights are reserved and you agree to not distribute any of this material (including images) without our written consent. Otherwise this material is exclusively for private use.
Privacy Policy
Galaxy Coins is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information that we do collect is for use in enriching your experience with the website or in providing improved customer service. Your information is secure with us and it is used only as outlined in these terms and conditions.
During your use of this website Galaxy Coins will collect information relating to you both generally and specifically as well as technical information in regards to how you access this site. The general information we collect is based on age group, location, interests and other non-identifying factors which is used as indication of general usage trends to adjust and maintain the website. Information that can identify you, such as your name, address and telephone numbers are used to facilitate ordering. The technical information is to identify hardware and software specifications of the system you use to access out site in order to maintain the site. None of this information is shared with any third party through any means whatsoever unless legally required to.
Our website does use ‘cookies’ to deliver a personalised experience. ‘Cookies’ are a marker for the exclusive use of this website and allows your browser to keep track of the pages you have visited and any information that you have entered. A ‘cookie’ cannot install or run programs on your computer and they are used solely by the server that created the cookie. Product Prices
Galaxy Coins publishes a daily price list which is only indicative pricing. The pricing for all products, services and delivery costs are calculated at the time of the contract and based on the spot price plus a premium.
All prices quoted on www.galaxycoins.com.au are updated only during business hours Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays). These prices are indications of 'Galaxy Coins’ retail and bulk prices and are not firm commitments to buy or sell at the indicated price. Prices will be confirmed at the time of purchase/sale.
Currency
Galaxy Coins transactions are carried out in Australian dollars (AU$) and processed through PayPal. All international orders are charged in Australian dollars at the exchange rate of the day.
Bullion
Galaxy Coins sells bullion (gold, silver and other precious metals), nuggets and some coins which are defined as bullion through this website. Bullion purchases are subject to these additional terms and conditions which you are bound by from the moment the purchase order has been processed.
You recognise that on receiving your purchase order we enter a binding agreement with other parties for procurement of the bullion. The bullion price for your order is from the daily ‘live spot price’ effective when you place the order. Your total includes the bullion ordered, delivery charges and any additional charges. We will send you a notification of your total, including all charges, when the order is placed.
All orders for bullion purchase require a 10% non refundable deposit to allow us to fix the metal price; the remainder (balance) must be paid in total and in cleared funds within 3 working days.
When we have received the funds then we will send you a tax invoice detailing all charges.
In the event that a bullion purchase becomes overdue or unpaid we may do one or all of the following:
Cancel your order and refund the deposit back to you less any administration cost and drop of metal prices.
Retain the metals for an extended period of time until payments are cleared.
Cancel the order, retain any deposits and close your account which includes refusal of any future transactions.
Additionally, you cannot place a bullion order exceeding $200,000 in a day and all bullion purchases must be accompanied by suitable proof of identity as required by Australian law.
Galaxy Coins reserves the right to refuse any order. In the situation where we do reject an order you will be notified and your deposit will be returned to you within 5 business days (excluding public holidays).
Lay-By Terms & Conditions:

The price of any and all item(s) is locked as of the signing of this agreement.

A minimum 10% deposit is required up front for all Lay-By orders.

A $30 non-refundable administration fee applies to all Lay-By orders.

Payments are required to be received in fortnightly / weekly instalments via the “Preferred Payment Method” marked above.

The duration of the Lay-By will not exceed 12 weeks from the date this agreement is undertaken.

A cancelled Lay-By will incur a termination fee. The termination fee is the greater of $30 or 2% of the initial Lay-By value.

The item(s) purchased are your property only after the final payment has been received.

An additional 2% price locking fee applies to all Lay-By orders.

Breaching any of Terms & Conditions 1-8 may result in termination of the Lay-By agreement. In this case all funds paid will be refunded less the termination & service fees.

After the final payment has cleared, please allow up to 5 business days for the delivery of stock to your goods.
Payment of Order
A binding contract to purchase exists once the buyer agrees to the price and completes the purchase. At this time, the buyer assumes all price exposure risk on the goods. No products will be shipped from Galaxy Coins until payment is received in cleared funds and in total.
Goods and Services Tax (GST)
GST is not charged on Bullion sales. However, bullion sales in Australia do incur GST on charges for freight and insurance. All other orders for delivery within Australia are subject to the Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). International orders do not incur GST. GST is included in the prices on our website.
Order Notification
After receiving and processing your order Galaxy Coins will issue you with an email notification, which will include the date your order was despatched, the tracking number of your parcel and a link to the relevant postal carrier which to track it through.
Shipping
Please ensure the details for the shipping address you enter during checkout are correct as these cannot be changed. If specified during check-out items can be collected from our store. Shipping is actioned within 2 business days (excluding public holidays).
Domestic Shipping (Australia):
All items are sent through Australia Post with the option to track your item once it is received by the Australia post delivery centre.
Upon request and agreement of charges by the customer we can arrange for signature on delivery or other shipping methods.
Shipping Worldwide:
International Registered Post: 5 – 12 business days.
Upon request we can make other posting arrangements that our customers may prefer. However, we will not be responsible for any additional charges that may incur.
Please Note: We are not responsible for security, import duties, taxes and handling charges that may be incurred by the country we ship to. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges and are the buyer’s responsibility. Prior to purchase please check with your postal service or customs in regards to restricted or prohibited items posted to your country.
Warranty and Returned Goods Policy
Return is accepted within 7 days after the buyer's receiving the item.
We accept returns if the item was not described accurately or if the item is faulty.
All returns must include all original items undamaged and in re-sealable condition with all applicable packaging including any booklets and certificates.
We do not take responsibility for items that already have been posted so if you want to pay for insurance please notify us so we can make arrangements.
Return shipping is paid by Buyer.
Service interruption
Galaxy Coins shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising in connection with disruption to or malfunction of any system, device or service. You must not commence or maintain any proceedings against Galaxy Coins in respect of any such loss or damage.
Force Majeure
Galaxy Coins is not liable for failure to perform any obligation if said failure is a result of unforseen circumstance beyond our control, these are force majeure events that include but are not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, civil unrest, war, electrical failure, flood, earthquake, lightning strikes governmental action or inaction and epidemic. In these situations our obligations are suspended while we are prevented from performing them. We will fulfil our obligations as soon as practicable after any or all of these events.
Galaxy Coins is based in Victoria and operates under Victorian legislation. By accepting the above terms and conditions and with access to this site you recognise and agree that any disputes or actions in regard to Galaxy Coins will be determined in Victorian courts and settled by the laws operating therein.
